Cat’s heartbeat not strong?
I have a 6 year old Bengal Cat. She is a playful and happy girl with shiny coat who eats the best Cat Food there is for Bengals. I took her to the vet yesterday for her annual exam. The vet listened to her heart and said that her heartbeats were “not as strong as other kitties”. She said that while my cat looked extremely healthy and this is probably nothing to worry about the heartbeat was a bit “unusual”. I was wondering if I should be concerned by this statement? I don’t think this breed is associating with certain heart diseases. My cat gets really nervous when going to the vet, could this be the reason why the vet didn’t hear clearly?
If she’s happy and playful, and the vet says it’s nothing to worry about, you shouldn’t worry. You’re obviously taking good care of her. If you keep that up, you’ll notice it when Your Cat starts having troubles so you can go to the vet in time. But for now, I don’t see why you should worry. You’re taking care of her a hell of a lot better than most owners!
