How are Ferrets as family pets when compared to Dogs And Cats?
I have had cats,dogs,guinea pigs and hamsters (of course fish),but I am wondering about ferrets as pets.
Ferrets are totally gorgeous and make wonderful pets – they are like a squiggly, squidgy version of a kitten. Very playful & extremely intelligent. Litter training is fairly easy to do & they require a lot of exercise.
They do however have a very distinct odour & the Litter Tray will have to be cleaned out a few times a day.
There are a lot of ferret rescue centres why not find one local to you & go and have a look at them, handle them & see if they are the pet for you – don’t just buy one on a whim from an advert, do lots of research first to save another ferret going into rescue.
